life has completely lost reason.
In a boat of hope,
I shall sail to tomorrow.
In a cruel hurricane,
Made of infidelity and sorrow.
I come to a barren wasteland,
A place where no one can understand.
I look into the distance,
Finding two old friends, that can never coexist.
Darkness and Light.
The only ones that can thrive.
The question is..
Will I survive?
This path is not my choice
But the choice of the way.
I walk along a thin line of gray.
Is this choice enforced by fate?
Nothing but a pre-set time and date.
Or is it a choice to see which way I will sway?
The two:
Fighting, burning, crying, crashing.
Changing from entities to human,
Finally the two change into Tigers.
Both letting out a blood curdling roars.
In the mist of the moment I scream.
"Nothing I do will matter, don't you see?
Everything will surely shatter."
"Act on your dreams fool, she will always love you forever."
That's what the White Tiger said to me,
It wants to set me free.
Winning slightly over me
I'm suddenly fueled by hope.
My hope, The Darkness scatters.
It shoves me, bidding with decree.
It wants to win.
To take over me.
The Black Tiger speaks.
"But this cage of black is so beautiful. It will shield you from the untrue.
Nothing inside its walls can harm you."
Whispers darkness in my ear,
"Now only me you should hear.
With me you will survive,
With me you will strive,
And achieve paradise."
The white tiger yells at me:
"These are lies as they can be!
If you build your world on lies,
Then yourself you will despise.
The illusion of paradise,
Will crumble down on you.
Crashing, burning, dying, crying are your dreams.
Only then she will not love you."
The darkness silver tongue responds, its arguments winning over me.
"You have the right to disagree!
But make a pact with me.
I will offer you salvation,
No deprivation.
Only me you would hear,
You have nothing to fear."
And thus I agree,
and so I sign the decree.
With a faithless treacherous jolly glee,
The Darkness shrouds over me.
"With the light's hope undone,
You and I shall become one!"
I enter the storm of shadows.
Black as the depths of the sea.
I am taken in by the ash clouds,
The white tiger frowning over me.
Its body bruised and bloody,
Laced with cuts and wounds.
I have failed it, casted it away to the dirt.
Yet it still doesn't give up on me.
It will still fight, no matter how hurt.
All I wish for, is to be free..
Alright bud, no reason to be so morbid. I've got your back through and through.
